Also, this film is almost 2 years in the making, but it is surely worth the wait. Premiering in June, here is the first sneak peek of "WORD?! I Didn't Know (__________) Could Get Down Like That"!, a documentary film that explores Hip Hop culture's role as a unifying (and sometimes divisive) force across cultural borders and language barriers. Filmed during the winter of 2005/2006, the crew of "WORD?!" embarked upon a "road trip" to Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa, the Netherlands, Rome, Paris, and London to interview Emcees, DJs, Beatboxers, B-boys, Writers, and Hip Hop fans alike.
